STARTING FRESH

2022 feels like a year of fresh starts. After a couple of-let's say-unusual years, we're all ready to find a new normal. We're eager to find a new routine, get in a new groove and start to think about possibilities again. A new year brings with it so much promise. Maybe this is the year we'll jump on that new business idea, or remodel the kitchen, or get in shape, or get our finances or retirement or estate set up optimally for the future.

Luckily for all of us optimists, this issue of the Coulee Region Women Business Resource Directory is jam-packed with resources to help you do all of the above-and then some. We, too, have enjoyed a "fresh start" with the directory, beginning with a fresh new design, and we hope you'll find it even more interactive and inspirational.

As always, we introduce you to 20 businesswomen who provide exactly the services you're looking for to improve your home, health, financial future or business plan. Then we pull back the curtain just a bit and, in a new Q&A section beginning on p. 9, invite them to share their insights on topics all women can relate to: maintaining balance, overcoming challenges, getting inspired and more.

We've continued our "Our Towns" section, in which we highlight the treasures of the towns that make up our Coulee Region, and we're thrilled to feature many new resources for local shopping and services among advertisers that complement each area. Each story is a celebration of the women-owned businesses and other features that make each community in the Coulee Region distinct and important.
